This junk journal has a diving under the sea theme. The cover has been created from the original hardcover book Frogmen in Action printed in 1967. The journal consists of 6 signatures with paper tab separators cut from the book pages. These signatures have been hand-sewn to the spine with colorful and sturdy thread and when you look at the middle of each one you'll find different elements from the book added for charm and character. The spine is made from hand-dyed fabric which is created to resemble the sea.
 
      Inside, each signature is made from brightly colored construction paper and a picture from the original book that adds to the drama and passion of deep sea divers and the story of the frogmen. An array of fascinating vintage papers makes it super easy to use it as a journal and record the day, keep track of income & expenses, or use it as a combo photo/scrapbook. So many ideas. There is a clear pocket on the back inside cover that holds stapled pages of exercises from each chapter of the original book.
