This bud looks so inviting to share with someone special on a cold and windy day. Here on the Big Island, we enjoy a diverse climate with sunshine, rain, and even snow. Our Mauna Kea displays yearly snow at her summit and with the webcams at the observatory we can see what the weather shows at any given time. People drive all the way up, having to stop to acclimate from the high elevation, and load their trucks with snow then haul it back to Hilo so the neighbor kids can see what snow looks like and to create a very temporary snowman for the yard. Good fun.
